Hertz Arena Installs New High-Speed Wi-Fi
ESTERO, Fla. — Hertz Arena, Home of the Florida Everblades, has completed the installation of a new high-speed Wi-Fi service where guests will now be able to connect at no cost.
“Since taking over ownership of the arena in August of 2019, Mr. Hoffmann has worked hard to improve our guests’ experience. We are happy to be able to provide our guests with the latest Wi-Fi technology when attending an event at Hertz Arena”, said Randy Klinck, Director of Events & Operations. The arena used Summit Broadband, which is a fiber-optic based broadband service in Southwest Florida that remains committed to keeping Southwest Florida connected!
The system is designed to handle large venue capacities with simultaneous users. The new Wi-Fi system was installed by, and is managed by TeamLogicIT. Internet services like this are rarely seen in large venues. By providing the arena with updated equipment and a dedicated 10 gigabit per second internet service, fans can now experience download and upload speeds of up to 100mbps. Event-goers now have the opportunity to stay connected to social media outlets, keep up-to-date with live scores, stream 4K video and upload HD video, and take as many selfies as they want.
